Runway Travel Bag
Since 2009, Wendren, our founder, began crafting Travel Bags from jute coffee sacks. In 2016, she was asked to make a paper version, which initially raised doubts about its durability. Despite the skepticism, she ventured into this new territory, and the results were nothing short of spectacular.
This test bag, perhaps unexpectedly, found a devoted owner in Jeremy, Wendren’s husband. Captured in photographs is Jeremy’s Travel Bag taking a tumble off a luggage cart at Lanseria Airport in Johannesburg in 2017. Remarkably, it has stood the test of time, remaining a faithful companion through countless adventures. From traversing the globe on at least 7 international flights to embarking on numerous road trips and camping excursions across Africa, this bag has become an indispensable part of their journeys. It continues to travel with them, pushing the durability of the material to the maximum.
